Jacques van der Meer

Entrepreneurship runs in my family.
As a boy I already helped my father in the business, and when I was 18 I started an internship at a comparable wholesaler in France.
There, I gained a lot of experience and learned the French language.

In 1984, I officially joined SMW Holland, I started running orders and delivering them.

Later I focused on the internal structure and automation of the company.
In order to do this well, I followed various ICT courses, which enabled me to automate many of the business processes and realize our Webshop.

And now I am in charge of this beautiful family business. 

My work is great fun and very versatile, I deal with all parts of the company, such as relationship management, purchasing, finance, but I also like to visit our customers.

I like sports, have played rugby for years and can still regularly be found at my rugby club.

And on weekends I like to watch Formula 1 and go out with my family.

My vision for the next 5 years is to further expand SMW Holland and keep up with the latest developments.
